From “Maybe” to “I Signed My Contract!”
Deciding to move to another country is a big emotional and practical step. You’re not only changing jobs; you’re changing your daily life, your language and your comfort zone. The Orange Chapter program is built to make that journey structured, predictable and – as much as possible – fun. Below you’ll find what the typical 20‑week path looks like, from your first contact with our team to your first weeks in a Dutch dental clinic.
Step 1 – Introductory Call: Is the Netherlands a Match for You?
Everything starts with a personal conversation with our recruitment manager, usually Andreea. With her own experience of moving to the Netherlands, she explains the process, requirements and realistic expectations.
During this call you’ll discuss:
- Your education and experience
- Your English level and motivation to learn Dutch
- Your family situation (partner, kids, pets)
- Your career goals – for example, do you want to grow into a lead dentist or owner?
At the end of the call, you’ll know clearly whether the Orange Chapter route is right for you.

However, it’s advisable to keep working at least 1–2 days a week to maintain your clinical experience, stay connected to the profession and keep your skills sharp. Your schedule is intense but manageable. Most dentists treat this phase as a full‑time job: studying, practising speaking, reviewing materials, and attending online sessions with language professionals.
